Hello folks!

Just wanted to give you a quick update on what's going on at our end on manufacturing of the next version of our t-shirt. We're currently in the pre-production stage where we are approving everything that needs to be finalized before production can begin. 

Throughout the journey we are sure we have disappointed some of you with the delays and design flaws, but we hope we have also been able to put a smile on many of your faces. It's been a rough and tiresome journey and one that we would not have been able to complete on our own. Thanks to you, here are some of the things we improved upon:

COLOR 

When we manufactured our first inventory, we only produced one color each for men and women, but we are planning to add some amazing colors thanks to your support. Before production can start, we needed to finalize them and we just received lab dips from our manufacturer a couple of days back.

FABRIC 

We heard your feedback regarding shape retention and stretch for more flexibility. We are happy to let you know that we have added shape retention and 4-way stretch to our fabric to make way for extra freedom of movement in your workouts. 

DESIGN 

We have made the design on the back a bit more lightweight and instead of the reflective strip we have reflective details on the fabric itself. This allows the construction to be more streamlined while maintaining the functionality of being visible in low light conditions. We have further improved the fit at collar and sleeves giving it a more sleek and dressy look. 

SUPPLY CHAIN 

We have shifted the entire production to Mumbai close to our base. Now, we have more control over manufacturing and are proudly making them here at home in Mumbai. 

It's not all bells and whistles, of course. Behind every change and design upgrade there were tens of failures, hundreds of sleepless nights, and thousands of dollars... But I'll save the 'behind the curtain' story for another day.

 

Here is how the timeline looks like for now :

 

July 1st week:  Testing of prototypes and finalizing of design should be completed. The selection of colors should be done and lab dips would be approved. Orders for fabric will be placed.

August 3rd week:   Fabric arrives at our manufacturing plant and production begins.

August End:  Pre-order begins.

September 2nd week:  Production and quality control is completed. Shipment begins.

September 3rd week:  Shirts will arrive at your homes.
